Congrats!!! I have four, the oldest in college and the youngest in elementary. You will have many, many memories ahead.

Congratulations! You are in for some big changes. The vast majority are good and the good far outweighs any negatives.

It's good that you recognize that. Now prepare for this. Everyone, your friends, your family, your parents, her parents, will ALL know everything about babies and how YOU should raise them. You and your wife will need to discuss this and agree on what you want to disagree with. Then stand your ground.

Oh, and be prepared to be constantly amazed, enthralled, befuddled and engrossed, all at the same time. We're going through the second phase of this now, with a 18 month old granddaughter that renews all the feelings we had when our daughter was born.

Yay! It's great. It's tiring. It's fun. It's hard. It's frustrating. It's amazing. It's parenthood!!!

Congrats! They change your life in really wonderful ways!
