Not sure what a coffee shop/game room is.
"Accents common to the people in Northern Vietnam" NVA?
Tough when they have the drop on you. RIP.

Very sad. Will be interesting to see what weapons were used, was the shop owner out gunned? Did he shoot all of his rounds before being shot?
May be many things to learn from this encounter that may save someone's life in the future.

Game room is code for a place with quasi-legal gambling or sometimes with illegal gambling the authorities can't or won't prosecute for some reason.

After reading the article I feel like I learned to ensure I draw at the right time.
Perhaps the moment one is confronted may not be the right moment.
I assume the BG had the drop on him. From the post above I think we can
guess there was lots of cash. Perhaps waiting for a moment of surprise
might have helped. Maybe not. Just thinking, if a guy has the drop on ya,
might be a bad idea to pull. He's already sighted in.
Thoughts?

I'm taken by how our society is overly concerned with politically correct speech. They can't describe criminals anymore because some "special interest group" will get its panties in a bunch. It was two Asians... Why can't they just say it? Two Mexicans??? Say it.... Two black guys??? Say it. Totally absurd!! Our society is quickly heading down the ole crapper. Now when it is two white guys... They can say that!!
I have posted it here many times. If someone has the drop on you, you are very likely to lose!

Saying it is a bad idea is being kind, in my opinion.

I must be getting old. I lived in Pasadena Texas as a teen. We use to go to places called game rooms all the time. They were just places with pin ball machines and pool tables. My younger brother and I would spend hours throwing away quarters in those places. Then again, just the fact that I have actually played on pinball machines makes me a dinosaur.

We used to call those pool halls and arcades when I was a kid and a game room is where you put your hunting trophies.
Now the gambling = gaming euphemism has spread beyond Lost Wages

Video of shooter/shooters. Says he only got one shot off. Not sure if he was shot by the robbers before he had his gun out. Story is written so it is hard to tell.

Sounds like the owner panicked. Hard to outdraw a drawn weapon. Outmanned and outgunned equals bad outcome.
