Alright...this is the deal. It is fricken cold here in VA. So far I have been to three rallies. If we want rally great. But do we have to do it every two weeks?

I was not aware it was that frequent. Bless you if you have been going to them out in the freezing cold. It sure would be nice if we could get the anti's to call a cease fire until warmer weather gets here.

On January 16, 2013, President Barack Obama issued 23 executive actions against our 2nd Amendment right to bear arms. He did this without the consent of Congress, which, in itself, violates the foundation of the Constitution and the co-equal branches of government.

In response to these unconstitutional actions by the president, American people will gather together in rallies all across America in defiance to protect the rights that protect all our other rights - the 2nd Amendment!

This is not just about guns. Under the current leadership of both parties, the federal government continues to grow in size and scope - the attack upon our 2nd Amendment is just the most recent example. Yes, we need to protect the rights of gun-owning Americans, but we also need to protect the liberties of everyone in this country. That's what Day of Resistance is all about.

I'm not far from this so I'm planning on being there today. Looks like a nice day for it.

Freezing cold and wet here in Richmond Va. Too much to take my children out in....there will be other rallies and I can't have sick kids.

There was a nice rally here in Dallas from 2-5pm. I was there with my dog. Hopefully it keeps growing.

How many people do you think were there? Was anyone OCing a rifle or shotgun?

A few hundred I'd guess. There were some video cameras and 1 news truck. I don't know the channel because I'm new to the area. About a dozen unloaded ARs being carried. Lots of signs and a few speakers.
