I can get to the website but can't access any targets to verify story, website has issues. Take it for what its worth, just add it to the list of suspect activities going on and ponder the reasons why.

Bad guys come in all shapes and sizes.. Im very ok with LEOs state and federal having shoot no shoot targets in all shapes and sizes, to include little old lady's , grandpas, and pregnant women.

The targets I saw in the article included children: a little boy around 10 and a teenage girl. They also included an old man with a shotgun and a grandma in her bathrobe. None of those depicted looked anything like the criminals you're linking to. But I can't get the site to work so I've yet to see if such targets are actually available. However, if they are real, there is no good reason for them except conditioning.

Taken by itself, I agree with E.Marquez. This doesn't mean much. But combine it with other "suspicious" purchases that DHS and other federal agencies have been making lately and it is somewhat worrisome.

The LEO have a hard job.

There are thousands of like reports with criminals of all ages, demographics that presented a deadly threat to others or LEO's
Additionally, YOU DO NOT KNOW what training those targets were used for.. Was it Less then lethal / lethal engagement training?
Was it No shoot / Shoot? with a training objective to get a LEO to assess the target while presenting a deadly threat might be "talked down"
Or was it some sinister training to kill all armed Americans as the nonsense story would have you believe?

This "Story" is nonsense, much like when "they" take a Military field manual take the topic, title, or contents out of context and then assign some sinister anti american notion to it and claim to have "Proof" the Military is training for a take over..

some of the same hateful folks making waves about the GOV's purchase of 1.6 billion rounds would be SCREAMING if they had bought a single years worth from Cabelas or Academy at retail rates. There would be nuts coming out of the woodwork claiming there was back door political moves to force purchases from Anti American companies, or company owned by some political figure.. Or espousing on wasteful spending.. "They should have negotiated a better deal on price and delivery over a long term contract" Just cant win with nutty folks,, they will turn any event into an Anti what ever they have as flavor of the day.

That's all true, and my response is based on the photos included with the article, since the referenced website doesn't work. Doesn't change the fact the purpose of such targets is conditioning. They could use targets with the same size and targeting value --for instance, of a 10 year old boy in a line drawing, if the purpose of the target is just to develop shooting skill. The reason they're using a realistic photo is psychological ....for normalization and conditioning. And btw, the links you provided above are threats to sister, mother, and self, not LEOs.

Your contention might have more credibility if you were citing articles about 10 year olds confronting the police with guns and being shot. Seems like a story like that would be pretty big news. Granted, my memory isn't the best, but the only stories I remember getting attention that involve police shooting young children is when they have shot unarmed children in SWAT raids.

I was able to get into the website. The targets described in the article are for sale for .99cent each.

For .99 cents you can fantasize about shooting pregnant women and children and old people too. Cheap fun! They make great stock stuffers and are a hit at the DHS Christmas party! (sarcasm)

I'd ask you go back and READ the post again... There were specific qualifications and descriptions that went with my label of "hateful".. I think you may have missed that part... or I was not clear.

If they are using them for shoot/no shoot would the ones you are not supposed to shoot not be pointing a gun? Interestingly the melanin count of all those people was quite low. If it was a realistic training shouldn't there be all skin shades?

If it was just this I would discount it. However with everything else going on it is yet another example of our gov't malfeasance.
