WTB 9mm

G'morning,

I'm wanting to buy a 9mm that I can leave in my vehicles lock box. This would be my wife's to-from work gun since she can't carry at her hospital. Her parking area isn't secured, so she'd hate to loose her Glock EDC if the car were to be liberated by some socially and economically depressed poor souls.

If you have something that is reasonably accurate out to 6 feet and doesn't require hand surgery after practicing with it, drop me a note.

Thanks for reading?

:tiphat:

Ps; I'm pretty firm on 9mm for bullet consolidation purposes.

If you don't find one check out a Hi-Point. 9mm listed on Bud's Gunshop for $169.00. Not a pretty gun, but they do run. I know a man that competes in IDPA and. USPSA with one and it just runs and runs. And if it gets lifted, you don't feel that bad.

You may want to look for a LC9. I have one that I often keep in my car lockbox, which is very small but can accommodate the pistol and one extra mag. It's also thin and easy to conceal, although nowadays I generally have my XDs on me for EDC. The trigger is LONG, but I've found it to be very reliable and can be picked up for just north of $300. Sorry, mine's not for sale -- but that also speaks to how well it handles car duty for me.
