WTS AK-47 The description of the rifle is a Russian made AK-47. Made in the Russian Izshmash factory and imported by Saiga and Arsenal of the US. It has black furniture on it with a AK-74 flash suppressor on it. The model is SGL21-61 in 7.62X39mm. It has been shot less than 100 rounds. Just sighted in at 100 yards and put in the safe. Less than 1 year old. Along with the rifle, are 4 new Saiga Bulgarian polymer waffle magazines as well as 3 new US Palm polymer magazines. 640 rounds made in Russia (Tul-Ammo I believe) in a sealed spam can is also included. Total price for everything is $1300.00. Let me know about any questions, and thanks! FTF TRANSACTION ONLY. CAN MEET IN THE DFW AREA. I have more pictures that I can email someone if interested.

I have a 2012 Corvette, would you consider a flat trade?

:biggrinjester:

J/K...just a heads up, post which reflect pricing that is out of line with what the item sold for before Obama started the mass panic have not been well received on this board.

I would consider gunbroker, or Texas Gun Trader if you are trying to take full advantage of the current state of panic.

Users have the right to post items at whatever price they choose. If you are not interested in the item at that price, just move on and do not post a comment.

It's called supply and demand....it's one of the advantages of a free market economy (not that we have a real free market but probably the closest thing to it) :banghead:

I was commenting on what type of reception this type of ad might garner on this site, not on the rules of supply and demand. I believe in the free market, I just think many (myself included) consider this more of a community than just another forum. Many board members would no sooner try to get current market prices from our friends on this board then from their own family.

I myself I sold a few items at inflated prices, mainly to fund other purchases. I just haven't done it here.

Are you willing to part with your bulgy mags?

I don't think the price is that much of a markup in this market. It's maybe 10-15% above new price for everything once you include the mags/ammo.

Not like we're looking at a 6920 listed for $2500 here.

I agree with this comment whole heartedly ..... in todays climate the "price is the price" and largely created by our goodselves by bulk buying ammo and snapping up Ar's left right and centre !!..... sometimes we have to (or just want to) sell for a multitude of reasons and asking the going price is the right thing to do ..... i also agree with a later point that this member is not inflating the price over market price and 1600 is pretty reasonable in my opinion today ...... maybe in 6-9 months the price will fall , then that will be another matter.

I agree with this wholeheartedly, and have called out other sellers on this forum. We are a community of like-minded people who are serving to promote the 2nd Amendment the right to self-defense, concealed carry, and other firearms issues. We shouldn't be trying to take advantage of each other using short-term, panic induced market conditions. Take that to Gunbroker.

That being said, I also don't think this price is really out of line for a nice Arsenal AK package with ammo and mags.
