Yes, it can. The will notify you of your class schedule. They have a lot of individuals in in line for the instructor classes. Also, I am assuming you are already an NRA Instructor? You will have to be before taking the class.

What did the letter say about instructors class? You will have to be a handgun instructor first and provide them proof of ceritifcaiton before you can go to the CHL instructors class. You can go here to find a course close to you

sounds like we may be in the same boat. My application held up as well from Dec. When I checked needed Form CHL-90 which was being rewritten and is now downloadable today 3/4/2013. This is the form you submit with your certified handgun instructor paperwork.
