CHL Hell Does Exist

Completed my CHL course last Saturday and attempted to file on-line for my CHL Sunday... That's when it all went to hell in a hand basket!
Part way through the application, the website hiccuped! My application was lost! Started over.. GRRRR. You cannot proceed because you have an application pending for INSTRUCTOR?!?!?!? No, that's not what I need. Where's the REVISE button? There isn't one?!?!?!
Call the Help line... I got a ticket number!
Monday... Nothing
Tuesday A Call !!! We can't find any application, but we're "Elevating this ticket"!
Wednsday... Nothing
Thursday A Call !!! We still can't find any application, but we're "Elevating this ticket"!
Friday... Nothing
Monday I Call !!! We can't find any application, but we're "Elevating this ticket"!
Monday They Call !!! We can't help you... Call DPS.
Call DPS and sit on hold 45 minutes...
Talk to lady who says they can't find my application so I need to caqll the Help Line... GRRRR
Explain NICELY that they had been trying for a week but couldn't help me so they sent me to the DPS... She takes my phone number.
20 minutes later I get a call from the nice lady at DPS (Wow... They actually called back!) She explains that my application is in limbo... since it wasn't completed, the DPS doesn't have it... sigh
She says I can either wait a week or so... and the application is supposed to die of loneliness, or file by paper. (very big sigh)
I filled out the forms, got the two notarized and mailed the package, a check and a color copy of my TXDL. Should be in Austin by tomorrow.
Please let me wake up from this bad dream!!!
Oh well... Being a federal employee the sequestration bull should keep me occupied until the paper finds it's way back to me from Austin!
