Is Bail jump/ failure to appear a disqualified

I just printed out my driving record for a ticket dismissal and noticed it had bail jumping/failure to appear on it. This was due to me forgetting when my allowed time to handle the ticket was. I went in right away and took care of it and payed extra fines. I didn't think it was anything that would be recorded and they didn't seem bothered by it except for tacking on additional fees. It wasn't like I was picked up with a warrant and it only had to do with a speeding ticket . Anyway it was a it alarming when I saw that on the record especially since it was in2010. Is that going to have any bearing on my backround check or be a disqualifier ?

Not a problem. You paid all your extra fees, so it should be gone.

It is not an arrest, so does not have to be listed on the application.

As crossfire said if you were not taken into custody & finger printed you're good to go. Traffic citation & FTA if that's it no problem.

I'm sorry, I had to chuckle when I read the title. My imagination went to, "Well I was a fugitive for a while got caught/gave myself up and want to know if I can carry a gun."

I'm glad it was innocuous. Let us know when you get it.
