I bought an XD .45 over 2 and 1/2 years ago from a pawn shop. They said it didn't have a case. It came with 2 mags and a lock. It was a great price so I bought it and didn't think much of it. Over the past 2 and 1/2 years I have been in and out of that shop looking for new guns and stuff.

Today I noticed a guncase for an XD .45 behind the glass but no XD for sale. I asked where the gun was and he said he didn't think there was one and asked if I wanted the case for $20. It has a holster, dual mag pouch, speedloader, chamber block and 1 thirteen round mag in it. I said sure, I got an XD .45.

I swear to God I never thought about it being MY CASE until I got home. The serial# on the case matches my pistol. It should be free but $20 is well worth the stuff in it. I'm happy, and the guys there should get a kick out of the story.

I guess I could argue the case should be free. I would have a pretty good "case" for it.

The guys at the pawn shop know me, I've bought a few guns and other things from them. Just by stopping in, chit chatting, being nice, and having that facial recognition has gotten me some good deals. That has saved me more than $20 and I know in the future that I will save more than $20 by not asking for it to be free.

Now if only they would start selling ammo and reloading stuff!!!
