If he wants a phony title, why settle for "private attorney general"? I think he should claim "Emperor of Orlando", or "Grand Poo-bah of the Secret Order", or something really important.. . . Peek refused to give the deputy his license or insurance and instead flashed a badge identifying himself as a "private attorney general" and "bounty hunter." Peek told the deputy he does lawsuits about "law enforcement insurgence" and promptly issued the deputy a phony "warning" citation for "denial of right under color of law."

Deputies found marijuana in a lunch box in the car as well as an altered driver's license and a rotating blue light in the car. Deputies noted that the car had an antenna as well as a spotlight which could easily be mistaken for a police vehicle, according to the report.
Peek in an interview said he was "appalled" and felt threatened by the deputy. Peek said he'd ordered the badge from a company and carries the homemade "color of law" citations with him to be used whenever a public official violates a constitutional right. . . .
