At this rate....July/August, so I hear. If another mass killing with a gun occurs before then....Who knows.

Until it is over. The pain will subside. We shall once again feel life is worth getting out of bed for every morning.
Oh... Wait... I was thinking about the bacon shortage again. Sorry.

Through tenacity or luck, just picked up 200 rounds of .40 white box at Wally World tonight. Is that a light I see...?

In Weatherford maybe. DFW gets a LOT more than we do in Deep East Texas.
Any Pricint there has more population than we do in Angelina County

This is actually the first ammo I have found at this store in several weeks. I traverse the DFW metroplex for work and make many stops in my quest for ammo. I stop at this store 2-3 times a week. I think tonight's find was more a matter of luck than anything...

Careful, as sometimes "the light at the end of a tunnel" is a
muzzle flash."

Where are you located? .40 seems to be readily available at our local wal-marts and academy locations here n central texas.

Still hard to find in Central Texas--but not as hard as 9mm. I ended up buying a Glock 27 and Sig 229 .40, so that I would have something to shoot, while my 9mm's sit in the safe with no ammo. Have about 1000 rounds of each, but that is my safety net, so I really consider that I have zero.
