22 days for me.....so far.

32 days to complete br check.completed on 3/22

So frustrating when you check your status and you see the same ol thing day after day!!

Unfortunately DPS has to wait on FBI. They are just a little busy--but hang in there.

When I talked to a lady with NICS, she said that dps kind of " back doors " the NICS system when they do their BG check. Not sure what the heck that means!

Hmmmm Think they all have to go through NICS--not sure what back door she is referring to. Let us know if you find out.

Yeah paustin, I was scratching my head when I got off the phone with the NICS lady. Now I'm thinking the guy that is doing my packet must have went in the wrong back door now he's lost. Maybe he went in the back door of the Whataburger across the street and decided getting a Taquito is more important!

It's alot more likely that he went in the backdoor of an outhouse and fell right to the basement.

Maybe they can access the database directly instead of having to call and speak to a NICS operator.

Now that is a VERY likely scenario

Me too!! Been in BG check since Feb 26. Dps received app feb 1

Mine took one day. Maybe because I'm a dual citizen so I got put in a different stack?
