I am ashamed...I feel betrayed...I feel like real bravery, courage and common sense, are all but forgotten virtues in this country now...

That's it! The last straw! I'm renouncing my US Navy veteran status. As insufferable as leadership was in my day, they look like world class leaders compared to the bozos running the Navy now. What's next? A new rating for Day Care Worker? Gawd, what the Navy has come to.....

Hmmmmm...
I'm an Army guy (and an Infantryman so not known for being that bright)...
Won't a Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) need guns, big ones, that hold a lot of bullets???
I don't understand how this will be possible with GG's stance on evil assault weapons...

Will the ship be armed? Is that the reason her husband was buying that "Assault Rifle?"
a new kind of ship designed to bring the Navy fighting power into shallow coastal areas.
Aahhhh! I see.

Has EVERYBODY in the Gubmint lost their minds? I would not be surprised if there is a USS Trevon Martin next.
(CRAP - I hope I didn't give anybody ideas).

The Navy must have needed a vote on something from someone really, really bad to have had to consider that deal. I hope they got something worth it.
Naming ships after women, female pilots, soon there will be female SEALS (it's coming!)...... there have been a lot of changes in the Navy since I enlisted 50 years ago this June, and many more to come. Back then, I never dreamed of seeing a gorgeous CPO, and I have, or being hugged by a Commander (O-5), and I have, my daughter in law now on the Reagan.

This is another example of how society has blurred the distinction between a hero and a victim. People should be honored for what they choose to do, not what happens to them.

Wouldn't get me on board - that boat won't float.
