Fascinating. The pressure is 33 times less than the pressure of a human foot. Interesting.

Wonder how loud it is?

Looks like a good idea. It will definitely be louder than a current cart. And as far as being able to get into the trap, I don't know about that. Sand will be flying everywhere.

Most urban golf and/or country clubs changed from gas to electric carts years ago. Most of the reasons given were noise related,
but an underlying reason was based on reduced maintenance costs.

Very few things really go wrong with the electric motors they use. Almost all charging systems are solid state, proving relatively quick charging at reduced cost. It is not the age of the batteries that cause problems, but it is the number of charging/discharging cycles the batteries go through. That is why you should not recharge a battery that still has a charge on it. This is the problem most seen with carts in retirement areas. Everyone plugs them in, shortening the overall life.

There are so many mechanical parts on gas powered carts, they have a much greater chance of something going wrong. Almost all facilities using gas carts have a mechanic on the payroll.

Would still be fun though....
