The article is sooooo poorly written it confused me.

Cliff notes version.. In case anyone else is also confused..
1. Senate Amendment 139 to Senate Consent Resolution 8 (which is a BUDGET resolution, by the way) proposes "To uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty."

2. This amendment PASSED. 53-46

3. 46 Senators voted "nay". IOW, they voted to allow the UN treaty to override the US Constitution.

Treason. Plain and simple.

Traitors one and all. And there I thought that when these idiots were sworn in part of that included swearing to uphold and defend the Constitution, not trash it. Once again...traitors one and all.

I also sent a letter to Ted asking if these treasonous senators would be held accountable for failure of oath of office

Baucus (Montana), Landrieu (Louisiana), Johnson (SD) are up for re-election on 2014. Pray that their states have the sense to get a good candidate (Ted Cruz clone) to run against them, AND the RNC will support that candidate fully (unlike their bet wetting abandonment of the guy running against McKaskil in Missouri over one dumb comment), AND use this vote as an issue.

I don't know what I would have done if I lived in MO after that moron opened his mouth. That was as bad as this idiot woman in CO regarding her statement on magazines or maybe worse. I wouldn't have voted for the D, but I would've had a hard time voting for him too.

Here is the letter dated April 2, 2013 from Texas AG Greg Abbott to President Obama urging him not to sign, nor the Senate to approve, this treaty. I posted it on Scribd, having received it in .pdf form.
