There are attorneys out there that chase those cases down as they look for the quick settlement.

Even after that, the police still list him as a 'suspect'. It seems there is no end to the PC required by the left.

He's a "suspect" until convicted in court. That's how our criminal justice system works.
You're presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
PC has nothing to do with this.
