Ramblings on Newton's Third Law Applied to 2A

Newton's third law states that for every action there is a separate but equal reaction.

Newton's laws are applied to objects that have mass.

I was musing over a good bourbon tonight and postulate that these same laws must apply to our freedom and liberty.

The equal and opposie reaction, in our case, will be delayed.

The antis have been acting since the founding of our country, these united states, were formed. I read recently where someone stated the year that the anti-2A actions began but for the life of me I cannot recall when. It was in the 1800's. Might have been the Earp brothers for all I can remember, but I digress.

Our reaction is obviously delayed. As stated in another post, we are thinking, rational beings. For most of what we do, we must be such beings, because we know that in our convictions to self defense, defense of the innocent, and eventual eradication of tyranny if need be, we cannot react as a result of emotions. If we allow our emotions to rule our actions we act in error.

Our eventual reaction to prove Newton's third law in regards to our liberty will indeed be delayed. The delay is necessary. The necessity will eventually prove correct, because when the reaction occurs, the emotional beings will be caught totally off guard, will be totally shocked, and their emotions will be overwhelmed.

Call it Newton's Third Law of Shock and Awe.

Sleep well, brothers and sisters.
