Series of anti-gun ads by pro gun-regulation organization Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America.
"Notice how we have limited the 1st Amendment for the safety of our children?" asked Erin Dando on Facebook. "Now let's do the same for the 2nd!"

They just don't get it.
"These ads are obviously meant to make a point and create discussion,"
The only discussion they want is about which of our rights they want to take away.

“I think ultimately we will get the assault weapons ban because I don’t think this is the last time a man will walk into a crowded place with an AR-15.”

Both LRRH and AR-15s like the one pictured are banned in California. Just sayin'.

Their ads point out the absurdity of the restrictions our government places on us, not the absurdity of not banning guns. Banning Little Red Riding Hood? Ridiculous. Banning dodgeball? Equally ridiculous. Banning a chocolate egg because some child might choke on it? Where did the government think they got such power? We Americans have allowed our government to intrude on our lives in ways that are clearly unconstitutional. These ads should be the gateway to conversations about how much of our rights have been stolen through our apathy.

I'm searching for the "Like" button.

Going out on a limb here, but I think they are trying to say, "Look. We banned these for the safety of our kids, why not this scary black rifle?" They already know the rifle is banned in schools and some states, but those adds are intended for a larger audience and now they're going after the states that haven't banned these types of rifles.

I am surprised that no one has yet observed that in 2 out of the 3 pics, the child holding the rifle has their finger on the trigger....

Found an amazing quote in the comments section, using a phrase I haven't heard before, but REALLY like! "Feral Humans". Very descriptive. Let's ban "feral humans"!
:clapping:
The problem we have in this country isn't that there are guns. The problem is that we've been raising feral humans for a generation and they act like animals. We should stop that. In the mean time, disarming the good guys with all these ferals around seems for lack of a better word.......stupid.

I recall that the good guys are referred to as sheepdogs.

I'm thinking that if they want to teach natural selection / evolution as fact in schools, then they should let the little cosmic mistakes bleed out from dodgeball or choke on the candy egg toys if they're so inclined. I don't have anything against Science, its fan club is just a bunch of hypocrites...

I like where they stated: "We have no political agenda whatever."
