In Texas, don't they yank your card if you've had a domestic assault complaint?

Never mind...I see he wasn't arrested on either call.

They allow CHL in Washington State? They were pretty low on the state gun freedom list.

I think that's misleading. Seattle is a bastion of liberal stupidity (San Francisco North), but the rest of Washington is fiercely independent/right-leaning. A CPL (Concealed Pistol License) is actually MUCH easier to get in WA than a CHL in Texas. There is no class, no written test, no live fire test. Just get fingerprinted, background checked, and 30 days later - presto. Even better: Texas will recognize your CPL :)

Yes they do allow concealed carry with a license. I think they did before Texas did. They also allow openly carried handguns, which Texas doesn't. Restaurants are fine if you don't go in the bar, but the bar areas off limts for concealed carry are also off limits for children so they're easy to spot. No laws against standard capacity magazines, homeland defense rifles, etc.

With a little more global warming, I wouldn't mind living in WA.
