Sarcasm here (I hope??) There are thousands of cars at colleges. How does a criminal know which has a weapon?

I would much rather have college CHL holders be able to carry on campus, but, at a minimum, they should not face the risk of expulsion for storing their legal weapon in their car. The fact that criminals might steal from cars is not the student's fault. It is the criminal's.

That is why, if you leave a firearm in your vehicle, you need to have something to secure it in that won't make it easy to grab and run. Campus LEOs patrol our parking lots pretty regularly, so if someone is going to bust a window and make off with a firearm, it needs to be done quickly. If I leave mine in the vehicle, you can bet I will secure it.
