Investigators with the Westfield Fire Department said a man who lives at the home, was putting gas into a car in the garage, while smoking a cigarette.
Brilliant move.

There are the "Honorary Mentions" categories...I think this one falls into one of this...ie - "Honorary Mention - Stupidity with Gasoline and Fire."

Actually no. They just have to remove themselves from the gene pool. I remember one recipient who survived, but removed himself from the gene pool with the removal of his reproductive equipment.
In this case though, it doesn't seem the guy burned off anything important, so he probably doesn't qualify for an award.
