On Monday, I received a letter from austin requesting I submit some documents on a matter from many years ago.
so Tuesday it was put in an envelope and placed in a first class priority envelope

So it was taken to the post office at Sulphur springs texas, which is in north east texas on the I30 corridor between greenville and Mt. Pleasant
the clerk typed out a receipt to track and it it even has the Austin delivery zip and says it would be delivered the 9th of May

well for grins we tracked it this morning to see how far along it has moved and I kid you not it was in Kansas city kansas..yep
and at 11.54 pm it was now in Kansas Missouri
somehow I dont think its going to make it to Austin by 8 am...
we called the wonderful postal service and they had no idea how or where this happened.
makes for a fun talk around the coffee table

I attached a word document of the screen shot.. :biggrinjester: :biggrinjester:

UPS delivered a case of wine to me that was addressed to someone in San Francisco with a similar last name. A message to the winery has gone unanswered.

So they didn't get it? If you have copies, scan it and email it to them.

Go to the link above. Hit the drop down box and select "Concealed Handgun". Scroll down to the middle of the page. Fill out all of the information boxes.
In the comment box state that you are sending requested documentation. Before doing any of this you should have scanned the documents.
Hit the top "Choose File". Select the scanned document. Repeat as many times as required to get all the documents.
Hit "Upload". Once the documents are uploaded hit "Submit Form".
You're done. And you have your revenge against the post office because you didn't use a stamp.

If DPS is not the only occupant of the building, there may indeed be two ZIP codes for that same address, one for DPS, one for the rest of the building, and the mail rooms may not talk to each other.

Say all you want about "bad" USPS..

But I ship daily, priority mail or standard post (use to be called parcel post) Tracking numbers for all now, no extra charge. Free shipping materials for all Priority. Pick up at my home. Discount for doing postage online. Shipping boxes sent to my front door in days after ordering, FREE
100's of packages shipped, all over the US, Japan, Israel, Spain, Guam, Panama.. not a one of them lost..... and all but a few delivered in the time frame quoted.

Just sent a 68lb wooden crate with motorcycle frame to HI... $68 including $600 insurance...... and it got there in 4 days... Standard post.

normally we use the postal service for 80% of our mailings and tracking, never an issue
what made this one so bad was the horrible persons we had to deal with when trying to find the parcel, especailly when it went to kansas city and ks and then kansas city MO.

finally had some resolution yesterday
but not after being berated by a postal customer service person, by here repeated statement " its delivered" each time we asked any question
then the top of the hammer. she said well its going to the handgun place, YOU DONT Need to have a gun anyway, YES she did. her attitude was very loud and harsh with each "its delivered", and my favorite " I am the only person you need to talk to" then the line went dead.

so after much phone time and actually speaking to the dallas post master, we get a refund and are assured the person known as kniesha will be dealt with
we also found out the second zip is a drop box for dps, then they pick up the mail at this facility.

our water company has the same attitudes towards any inquiries if you dare call them about anything, that may make them look bad, like why cant I see my bill online. They can only provide your amount due, but not the bill like verizon or the electric company
southwest water
so now I wait to see if the license moves forward or it expires before a resolution
