As I find myself with no way out of attending a wedding over the Memorial Day weekend, a question comes to mind and I hope someone who resides in Austin will know the answer....

The wedding will be held at Mercury Hall.

Is that a posted facility, or is concealed carry permissible?

Thanks in Advance ! :thumbs2:

Nevertheless, exercise extreme discretion. Austin is very, very gun-unfriendly.

I disagree with this statement. While it is true that the majority of politicians in Austin are devoid of a shred of common sense, the APD officers I've encountered are very gun-friendly and have complete respect for law-abiding citizen's right to keep and bear arms. They DO, however, report to a police chief that deserves to be tarred-and-feathered out of Texas for his anti-gun agendas. Most rank-and-file officers I know won't shed a single tear when he leaves. In addition, there is a very active, pro-gun community in the Austin area, in spite of a dearth of indoor and outdoor ranges.
