9mm value pack $21 and change 4 boxes. Lean down to see them, they're pushed back. 45acp value pack $40 and change 7 boxes. In The Colony 2230 hrs.

Would love to stumble on some of the value packs.

Every time I go to any location around me all I see are shotgun shells. Maybe I need to venture further into the boonies

The Walmart by my house gets shipments on Wednesdays and Fridays. Sometimes they stock that night before 10PM, other times they stock when they open the sports counter at 7AM. I have been somewhat successful getting 9mm and .223 by checking at 9PM on Wed and Fri and at 7AM the next morning. I have also left empty handed many times as well. Your best bet is to try to figure out when the shipments for that store generally come in by talking to several people in the sports section until you find someone that will spill the beans. It took me a good month to figure out the best times to go looking, as different employees give different answers. If you go by just before 7AM every day for a week, you may find certain days that there are other people milling about the sports counter who may give you some info as well. Good Luck!

Saw someone on TGT selling the federal 100rnd 9mm packs for 50/ea. I hope every member on there tore into him.

Wife and I were at the Grapevine Walmart around 11 pm last night...ammo shelves were bare with the exception of 7mm Rem, 300 WinMag and some shotgun shells.

Stopped by Walmart in Waxahachie last night about 7:30. Line 12 deep waiting on ammo. Was able to pick up 3 50rd boxes of 9mm WWB.
Stopped by Walmart in Cedar Hill this morning and ran into the ammo cart headed to the shelves. Picked up 5 100rd boxes of 9mm WWB and 1 100rd box of .45 WWB. Glad the wife was with me.
Just bought a Kahr CW9 from a forum member and the only 9mm I had was the 100 round box he threw in with the deal. Fortunately in the last 20 hours I've found 650 rounds of it at normal Walmart pricing. I must be living right.

Haha. Actually we're here right now looking for houses. I can safely say the ammo situation is no better up here.

I regularly check Wal-Marts in Sherman, Bonham, and Greenville. I'm never there at the right time to find anything useful.

I looked online today, saw this store that said they had some Federal 9mm in stock, nothing in the cabinet on arrival, had the manager look it up.
He said his little handheld device said they had 22 on hand but that it was wrong because it's so popular that it always sells out so fast. This seems like an assumption more than a fact to me.
I asked him that since his in store equipment is showing it in stock that it must be somewhere....right?
He said no.
I think he was just lazy and didn't want to go look for it.
Has anyone else had a similar experience?
