Is NERF getting into Assault Weapon Territory?

NERF now makes a sniper style rifle capable of shooting a larger projectile 100ft. Doesn't mention magazine capacity. If they come out with a block one it's bound to be banned.

My 6 year old said, "OH YEAH!!!" when I showed him the article. We should own stock in NERF by now.
