Has anybody else ever seen somebody do this to a 30.06 sign? These are new signs put up around the hospital entrances and buildings. The blurg in the lower right hand corner is what I am refering to. And no, the corrected verbage in the lower corner is not 1" tall before somebody asks. Also, it is very hard to see. I walk by these daily and just noticed it. Signs have been up for approx 3-4 months, maybe longer.

I have never seen that done, nor do I believe, in my IANAL opinion, that to be proper signage in the very least. Others with more knowledge may or may not agree. I would carry past that if I found it necessary to do so.

Interesting. I have never seen that done before. It looks like they even shifted what appears to be appropriate text to include the snippet in the corner. I would not consider that sign a legal one by the letter of the law. Would it suffice for the "spirit of the law" I have heard some LEOs talk about? That I don't know. That sign might be one of those beat the rap, but not the ride types for some LEOs. I have also seen plenty of signs with the exact verbiage they need to have, but posted in an area that would fit on a 8.5"x11" sheet of paper...not legal size, but....

Ultimately, concealed means concealed...

It is invalid. 30.06 states specifically what the requirements are.

More places should update their signs in this manner ;)
