Fantastic. 9 great scenarios, 25 shooters and over 110 rounds fired. Temperature was a little cool but didn't dampen anyone's spirits. Results are posted at

You were missed.

Gosh.....thats only 4.4 rounds each.
Doesn't hardly seem worth the effort.
Sounds like y'all had a great time, cool weather or not.

So you didn't make it, either, huh? I spent most of Saturday shivering, watching tennis at Westside. With the first of the day's semifinal matches being between two guys not even ranked in the top 80, I admit I was wishing I'd skipped that first match, gone to Conroe to shoot, then made it to Westside around 3:00 for the first doubles match.
Oh, and Flint. That's a new Thunder Tactical thing: shooters only get to load five rounds, total. If you can't get multiple hits on multiple targets with a single shot, you're toast.

I must give it to you.....it takes guts to sign onto this forum and admit that. WOW!
I didn't picture you a tennis guy
I wish you could have made it to Thunder Saturday. As always, an AWESOME group of folks that put on a first class match.

IMHO there were 8 great pistol stages and a sneaky carbine stage.... I mean come on now, I know the manual says an occasional shot 25 yards or farther can be used but 6 rounds at 15 yards and 6 rounds at 2 targets at 25 yards really hurts. In fact almost half my points down came on that stage. (can you tell I can't shoot beyond 10 yards with a pistol)(and am whining about it)
As always at TTS, it was a fun match. I used 131 rounds but my philosophy is I paid the match fee and carried the ammo, so I'm gonna shoot it. And as a bonus I beat my son's score on not 1 but 2 stages (overall he left me in the dust, I'm so proud of him)

I had a great time too at Thunder. 9 challenging scenarios. Oddly, the carbine stage was one of my best for the day. It was the close up stuff that gave me trouble.

Those long shots really make you slow down to get good hits.
It was nice to visit with everyone and got to meet some new folks.
Great match TTS!
