Fantastic. 9 great scenarios, 25 shooters and over 110 rounds fired. Temperature was a little cool but didn't dampen anyone's spirits. Results are posted at http://www.tts-idpa.net.

You were missed.

Gosh.....thats only 4.4 rounds each.

Doesn't hardly seem worth the effort.

Sounds like y'all had a great time, cool weather or not.

So you didn't make it, either, huh? I spent most of Saturday shivering, watching tennis at Westside. With the first of the day's semifinal matches being between two guys not even ranked in the top 80, I admit I was wishing I'd skipped that first match, gone to Conroe to shoot, then made it to Westside around 3:00 for the first doubles match.

Oh, and Flint. That's a new Thunder Tactical thing: shooters only get to load five rounds, total. If you can't get multiple hits on multiple targets with a single shot, you're toast. ;-)

I must give it to you.....it takes guts to sign onto this forum and admit that. WOW!

I didn't picture you a tennis guy :biggrinjester:

I wish you could have made it to Thunder Saturday. As always, an AWESOME group of folks that put on a first class match.

IMHO there were 8 great pistol stages and a sneaky carbine stage.... I mean come on now, I know the manual says an occasional shot 25 yards or farther can be used but 6 rounds at 15 yards and 6 rounds at 2 targets at 25 yards really hurts. In fact almost half my points down came on that stage. (can you tell I can't shoot beyond 10 yards with a pistol)(and am whining about it)

As always at TTS, it was a fun match. I used 131 rounds but my philosophy is I paid the match fee and carried the ammo, so I'm gonna shoot it. And as a bonus I beat my son's score on not 1 but 2 stages (overall he left me in the dust, I'm so proud of him)

I had a great time too at Thunder. 9 challenging scenarios. Oddly, the carbine stage was one of my best for the day. It was the close up stuff that gave me trouble. :???: Those long shots really make you slow down to get good hits.

It was nice to visit with everyone and got to meet some new folks.

Great match TTS!
