I would ask for prayer from all who will for my daughters mother . She was diagnosed with alzheimers in April , she is only 57 years old . It has progressed to a point now that she can no longer drive , cook , handle money , etc . My daughter is only 14 and taking this very hard , I'm trying my best to help everyone but this is a tough situation that will only get worse with time . Please put them on your prayer list . I am also willing to accept council from those that may have had a similar situation . Thank you

Prayers up, Chuck, for your Daughter, and her Mom. That's a tough thing to deal with. Wishing your Daughter

oh Chuck...how hard this has to be! for your daughter, you, everyone involved! that's so young!!! we expect it in our parents, not in US!
My MIL has memory problems, she's 87, it's to be expected, and it's gotten a bit worse since my FIL passed back in Dec...but I still have to remember to check on her every couple of days, and not to get frustrated, that it's just a part of life now. It was much easier when there was two of them checking on each other.
Honestly, some of what we've learned from taking care of the in-laws might help your daughter. Look at books about Grandpa sandwich generation, and such....I know it's not exactly right, but I can't imagine there are enough cases like this that anything has been written for her.
If there is anything I can do to help, I'm in San Antonio, let me know.

I honestly thank you , I will not lie , I am in a hard place , do not really know what to do but playing it day by day . Dont care so much about me but trying to deal with my daughter and her mothers family . I'v had other older family that had the problem and I dread the outcome to all involved , prayer is the only hope .
Thank You

Chuck, I'm so sorry to read this. May God bless you all in this difficult time. Day to day is all you can do. Be a rock for your daughter and let the Lord be yours.
I keep Psalm 91:2 in my signature as a reminder for myself in these times.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,my God, in whom I trust.”

I have noticed your signature my friend and was inspired by it . Not many will show their faith now . The book of James has always ben a mainstay for me , many would not preach from the book of James because you must understand his intent , takes a bit of study . Thank you .
