I've read several posts on these locations, but I just wanted to make sure for myself. I will be attending a Microsoft partner conference in a few weeks. All of the sessions will be in the George Brown Convention Center. The keynote speech will be at the Toyota Center, and they will also have a final night event (probaboy a concert) at Minute Maid Park. From what I've read, all three of these locations are city-owned. Is that correct? If so, they obviously couldn't prevent CHL-carry.
Just want to be sure because I'll be taking public transportation to the event and if I get turned away, I won't have a car to lock up the gun.
Thanks for your help guys and gals!

The NRA Convention was held at the GRB and the Convention Brochure said "carry away". No signs there. What you might find at Minute Maid or Toyota Center is security with wands. I think if I was going to carry, I would drive my own car "just in case"... No 30.06 signs there but you might get a verbal from security. You could argue that they can't keep CHL's out but you will directed to a Police Officer that might not have a sense of humor.
