kind of a funny story

I was recently in a very busy restaurant with some friends on a Saturday night in Frisco (cc'ing as usual). When I say busy I mean this place was packed. When our wait was finally over and we were being escorted to our seats a server bumped right into my hip and HK. I was stunned for a second, stopped in my tracks and looked to see if she even thought twice but she was in a hurry to "put out a fire" somewhere and never looked back or anything. It wasn't just a graze either; it was a direct hit...bullseye! haha. I just kind of laughed to myself and carried on.

Any experiences like this with any of you guys?

Yep. Happens all the time. Well, not ALL the time. But frequently enough. People are clueless and/or just don't care.

Happens quite often especially at church. Our entry lobby is not very big and a lot of people tend to be in this small space at the same time.

If she even realized that she bumped into something harder than flesh, she probably thought it was a cell phone or similar in a holster. But probably didn't realize anything...most people are clueless. And you already know it's a gun, so you're aware of when someone bumps into it.

de-KK5UP Very true most are clueless of incidental contact with an object or even seeing it. I did an experiment art work. Posted a sign on the door "wet paint on door" at eye level > 8 of the 10 people never saw the sign and pushed on the door

Same for me...when such incidents are likely, as in crowded places, I put my hand in my pocket and use my arm over my gun as a buffer. Never had a bumping incident in several years of carry.
