Mine was just over 8 months. I had to have a pyhcologist AND pyhchiatrist interview me (at my expense).

What is your story?

I assumed it was past issues. Care to elaborate, or shall we conjecture?

No one here knows you, and your story could give hope to someone in similar circumstances, and could educate many of us.

I would rather not elaborate other than saying the issues were not major things. Pretty much I was told they looked at my past and made a judgement call on requiring a "doctor" report.

They told me I could get a report saying I was OK to use sound judgement in carrying a weapon. They said I could get a pyhchatrist report, pyhcologist or a regular doctor. I provided a pychologist report and they stated they had to have a pyhchatrist report so all liablity was taken off the medical board who reviewed my case. So then I had to get a pychatrist report.

I wish they would have told me up front that a pychartrist report was the ONLY report that I could use.

That's my case. What have OTHERS experienced?

Question is how did they know about your past medical history to begin with?

it was legal issues, not medical.
