After interviewing nearly three dozen people in the George Zimmerman murder case, the FBI found no evidence that racial bias was a motivating factor in the shooting of Trayvon Martin, records released Thursday show.

Even the lead detective in the case, Sanford Det. Chris Serino, told agents that he thought Zimmerman profiled Trayvon because of his attire and the circumstances — but not his race.

This whole trial reminded me of the first recorded public "lynching" of a completely innocent person.

"Crucify him!" "Crucify. Him!"

He didn't get the right verdict though...or did he?

It won't, but at least they won't have the help of the FBI.

This morning, on Good Morning America, the headline feed across the bottom says: "Prosecutors have new theory that Trayvon Martin saw Zimmerman drawing his gun and was pleading for his life when Zimmerman essentially shot him in cold blood." Regardless of anyone's feelings of guilt or innocence, that is just WRONG! There is NO WAY that statement can be anymore than pure speculation since there is absolutely no evidence possible about what Trayvon did or didn't see. They are simply trying to stir things up and incite more protests to try and influence DOJ to pursue "hate crime" investigation. As E. Marquez stated, even without any evidence, if enough political pressure is brought to bear, the DOJ may "investigate" just to show they are "doing something". Not only is there no longer a presumption of innocence, but they are trying to create a presumption of guilt even after being proven innocent in a trial. :grumble

The news networks and talking heads will be doing their best to keep the Zimmerman story alive because it's good for ratings. The "news" networks are nothing more than a business with an objective of selling advertising and not disseminating objective news. Follow the money.

The prosecution needs to be prosecuted. But no, the statement is not speculation at all....it's a flat out lie that was disproved by actual forensic evidence.

This must be old news....I've seen nothing but advertising and propaganda in the legacy media for years now.

I didn't follow the trial that closely, but didn't the evidence show that Martin was shot while sitting astride Zimmerman bashing his head into the concrete? Where was the "cold blood" there?

That's just because the FBI stopped looking closely to let the Florida "justice" system handle the situation. Once they "review" the case and finish their "investigation" they'll realize that they have all the "evidence" they need to make a case, which will naturally, given the unfortunate timing of the trial in Florida, have to heat up just before the mid-term elections. I'm sure the trial will be televised with sentence pronounced just before election day.

Yes. Both prosecution and defense witnesses confirmed elements of Zimmerman's story. One witness, John Good, described the confrontation this way. A black man in a dark hoodie was mounted on a lighter colored man in a red jacket "MMA style" and was "raining down blows" on him. The man on the bottom was crying for help. I shouted at them to stop and said I was calling 911. Martin was wearing a dark hoodie. Zimmerman was wearing a red jacket. His description confirmed Zimmerman's account of what took place directly before the shooting.

Now that the evidence is out, some on the left have adjusted their stories. Basically it goes like this; OK, Zimmerman was getting his butt whipped, but he asked for it and was just a fist fight. You don't shoot someone for fighting with you.

I have heard this EXACT same new version and it makes me SICK :banghead:

These idiots even want laws like stand your ground and CHL overturned so that they can continue with some "good-natured" MMA style ground-n-pound without fear of consequences.
