Health Need: 4 year old boy with leukemia

A very dear friend's four year old son Carter has just been diagnosed with leukemia. I was shocked beyond words, but that doesn't compare with the devastation and grief his Mom and Dad are suffering now. I wish I could give my friend's name, but I cannot. He is a very high profile figure and there are those who would try to take advantage of this child's illness to hurt his father and others.
Carter was just diagnosed last Friday and he is already undergoing an aggressive chemotherapy regimen. Please pray for Carter and his Mom and Dad. Keep him continually in your prayers and pray that our Lord will heal him and use Carter's healing for His glory and to lead others to Him.

Charles, that is about the same age as my nephew was when he was first diagnosed with leukemia. He is now 32 years of age and has has enjoyed clear health since he was a teenager. Prayer changed things in his case.

Your friends family will be in our thoughts and prayers. A close friend of mine went through the same with his son quite a few years ago. It's devastating. If your friend would like to talk to someone who's been through the process (all the way through to a son who's been in remission for years) then I'd be happy to forward my friends contact info on to you to send to your friend.

I have a granddaughter who was diagnosed at about the same age. Wonderful medical care brought her through several very difficult years and a few close calls. She is now 19 and healthy.
Prayers sent for healing, strength, and comfort.
