A swarm of over 30,000 bees attacked a North Texas couple and their horses last Wednesday, killing both animals and stinging the individuals more than 250 times collectively.

How come the bee counter didn't get stung?

Not to to discount the "B's" but if I saw 30,000 of 'em coming at me, I'd be haulin' "A".

You can't outrun them. They will chase you relentlessly. Even if you jump into watere they wait for you to surface to breathe. The Africanized strain is truly a deadly hazard.

Pantego? Isn't that off Park Row and South Bowie in Arlington?

Odd place for a swarm of killer bees.

I don't know the exact streets, but yes, it is in the vicinity of Arlington.

That smoke grenade is an intriguing idea, but I can't see it being very effective if there's even a slight breeze, and it might take more than one of them to produce enough smoke to give cover to one person's escape.

I seem to remember that one of the issues with africanized bees is that when they breed with domestic bees, they tend to produce more africanized bees without any loss of aggression, instead of producing more docile bees. Am I remembering that right?
