My Clock Finally Started Ticking!

Man, I feel like a kid who sent off my 10 boxtops for a decoder ring...Just hope it doesn't take the same 8-12 weeks it took to get those prizes in the mail like back in the day.
Here's my journey so far:
6 Months waiting for 6 months to pass - I just moved back to Texas.
2 additional months I had to reschedule my class because of last minute family events.
1 month waiting for my new DL because I just bought a new house.
1 week waiting for convenient time for me to run and get my finger prints.
I'm sure the wait will be a memory soon enough. I'm just elated that my wife took the class with me (I still don't know how I pulled that off) and got over her fear of guns. We had EXCELLENT instructor and she was so relieved after class. She thought she'd fail both tests. Funny how we learn better when our spouse isn't the teacher. The Instructor brought over 20 guns as hands-on demos & even loaned her his XDM, and she was way more comfortable with it than my Glocks, shooting over 90%. This'll end up costing me another $600 since she wants one of her own, but that's money well spent! Now, we just have to see who gets the first prize!
