I've had a bad headache for the last couple of days. I finally went to the doctor today and they recommended that i go straight to the hospital. The did a CT Scan and discovered I have a blood clot on my jugular vein. They aren't sure how I got it because i'm only 23 years old. They are going to put me on blood thinners and keep me over night for observations. All prayers will be appreciated.

Seriously though, praying for speedy and uneventful recovery. Listen to your doctors and don't rush it!

well, i'm just sitting in the hospital bored. They said they don't really have a standard way to treat it so they are going to try to work out a plan. Thank you for your prayers. Right now they are trying mild blood thinners and pain killer. Unfortunatly, the asperin they gave me hasn't had much of an effect so they are trying to find something that works. Again, your prayers are appreciated.

are they thinking coumadin or whatever that other one is that I can't think of and I'll think of it in the middle of the night?

Glad you got attention before it was too late. Now just be sure to follow the Doctor's orders. That is no always easy but it will lengthen your life.

I'm feeling a little better today. They are keeping me on pain medication and using aspirin as a blood thinner. They are gonna have me spend another night up here.
