Got card in mail last Friday. Damn thing got some toothless geezer and signiture instead of mine!!! Everything else appears to be correct in information although the licence number maybe suspect.

What do i do now? Refile??!?

Wow, that's awful. I'd be pitching fits if I finally got my license and they had screwed it up.

OK, now to be fair, first let's take the license into the bathroom. Now, compare the picture to the guy staring back at you in the mirror. Are you really sure that old geezer isn't you?

Sorry, couldn't resist. I have heard of this happening one time before. Seems the technician dropped some paperwork, couldn't make out the signatures on the back of the photos, and made a best guess as to who was who. So, some old geezer probably has your handsome picture on HIS license. Do ya think he is gonna call and complain? Probably not...

So, call em up. They will fix it.

On a positive note there is one other guy out there going thought the same thing you are right now too.

Hah, I didn't mean to suggest that I'd pitch a fit at DPS. I agree, there'd be nothing constructive about that. I'd do it privately when I got the card, and probably here as well.

According to Texas DPS this event was a very unique one as, to them, this kind of mistake just-doesn't-happen. They are going to research it and get right back.
