Doesn't say he pulled the gun on her. It says the wife called and said he has a gun and he is making threats. Maybe he had it concealed, or she assumed he had it concealed on him and she interpreted his comments as threats. Still some to be found out here.

"He’s in his car and he continually has his hand on his gun and he keeps saying 'step closer' and he’s just threatening all of us," Shellie Zimmerman said in the 911 call, adding that George Zimmerman was "trying to shut the garage door" on her.
Sounds like standing his ground to me. From that I read theymust have been at his residence and the Dad may have been the one threatening Zimmerman. Like said, there are four sides to this story, His, Hers, the Dad's and the truth.

According to Lake Mary Police Chief Steve Bracknell, Shellie Zimmerman called 911 claiming George Zimmerman had a gun and was making threats.
"He’s in his car and he continually has his hand on his gun and he keeps saying 'step closer' and he’s just threatening all of us," Shellie Zimmerman said in the 911 call, adding that George Zimmerman was "trying to shut the garage door" on her.
"He punched my dad in the nose my dad has a mark on the nose. I saw his glasses were on the floor," Shellie Zimmerman said in the call. He then accosted my father then took my iPad out of my hands. He then smashed it and cut it with a pocketknife, and there is a Lake Mary city worker across the street that I believe saw all of it."

Heaven help this man....he needs to be out of the news for three weeks running. Divorces are nasty business. Everyone needs to leave each other alone. If anyone knows him or knows someone who might know him, please give him some sage advice....DISCRETION!

If this were any other guy in this situation, this wouldn't even be a national news story, a minor local story at best. The mass media are transparent in their attempts to inculcate into the public conscience that those who conceal carry MUST be dangerous to others and cannot be trusted, AND the media are also transparent in their constant lust for anything sensational. I don't blame the media for everything that is wrong in this nation, but they are certainly part of the problem.

The title of this thread is incorrect and misleading, and should be changed.
George was never arrested, only detained and questioned.
Prayers sent to George and his family. They need blessings of the Highest.

He should have stayed in Texas, especially after she filed for divorce. That's all I'm saying unless there's video of the alleged incident.
