I have two more questions regarding the subject of holsters.

1) How many of yall remove you Mags when you cant take your gun in side a 30.06 posted building. Would it be wise to get a mag holder that has a paddle attachment or just go with the belt loops to keep it more flush with your body?

2)I notice on all the pics that I see advertising holsters no one is wearing a wallet. Since I wear a chain wallet now would I want to get use to it in the other pocket if I go with a OWB or should I not worry to much. Or is that just something that will become second nature after a bit of experience?

I don't remove the magazine from the weapon, I just go ahead and secure both in the vehicle.

I carry spare mags on my belt and don't bother with removing them when I enter posted/off-limit locations. I don't beleive there are any laws precluding me carrying loaded mags...if there are, I sure need to know about them!

I think you'll get used to it.
try a couple different things just to see, but for myself, it took me a little while getting used to all the extra gear.

Guess I worded it weird. I wasn't meaing take the Mag out of th gun but out og the mag holders. But you answered what I was asking anyway. Thanks

As for the chain on my wallet. I think of it as more of an anti theft device. That and if by chance it decides it want to jump out of my pocket while Im on my bike it wont go far.

This is good forethought.

You may wish to consider training your complementary hand to handle administrative items/tasks like your wallet and keys, and keep them on your complementary side, so that your primary hand is free to access weapons whenever necessary. You might also wish to tuck in the chain so that it does not indicate the location of the wallet. There are some pretty bold and ruthless pickpockets out there.

also, a good yank can oftentimes dislodge the chain (not always).
either from it's belt loop root, or the chainlinks themselves.

but I agree, it'll sure slow somebody down!!

As for reload magazines, someone here (I think it as TXI but he was talking about speedloaders) stated "You can wear them for earrings if you want to and still be legal"

I agree that the loops can break. They might get it but I going to know when they do. And Ill atleast have that off chance of being able to grab the chain if I miss the Wallet and arm.
