Does anyone here watch "Revolution"? I am starting to see a kind of message coming from the show. I did not really think about it until this morning in the shower, ya I am slow. But do you notice what the "U.S. Gov't" types say so far it is just before they die "I am a patriot" currenly the U.S. people are being portrayed as manipulators and evil calling themselves patriots(hmmm so do OathKeepers and theTea party). So am I late to the obvious or shold I lossen my hat?

I got frustrated with it pretty early on, I felt like they could have used the "survivalists" types in society better and some of the solar and steam stuff better, even hand pump...it just wasn't written/researched well, it made me want to rewrite it  . but one of my younger friends is very into it, has gone to some of the filmings so I've watched some of the last few eps...I've been trying to catch up.

I just started it. I'm about 5 or 6 episodes in. I am enjoying it so far. There hasn't been any heavy handed political messaging at this point.

Sorry, I tried to watch it, but I believe in physics.

NBC putting subtle messages in their primetime shows? That I don't find too hard to believe.

(We need a tinfoil hat smilie) :coolgleamA:

Carefully loosen the foil at the edges of the hat where they grip your head. Try not to tear the foil, as it will disrupt the protection provided. It's a fictional TV show. ;-)

I'm still watching, but it is starting to get way off base with the nerdy guy being able to make people burst into flames. As far as the messages, I try not to read into too much that comes from the "entertainment industry"...we all know how the majority of them feel. :coolgleamA:

That is what I am talking about, the message which many of us here can see and ignore as propaganda, however the middle masses will hear that and start to assocate "Patriots" with nut jobs....well they kinda already do anyway. sigh
