I picked one up today. It looks fun to shoot. Does anyone have any experience with one? I hear and have read they love all kinds of 22 LR not just the high end stuff.

I've had my 6" black Neos for a few years now, and it's still one of my most enjoyable to use guns. I've got a Tru-Glo red/green holo sight on it, and the combo is really fun to use. The knob for removing the barrel from the frame was stiff and hard to move the first few times I separated the gun to clean it, but with use and a little bit of lube, it's easily manageable now. And, yes, it eats anything I've used in it except some .22 shorts I mindlessly tried to use one time.

Bottom line: I luvs my Neos!

I've got the carbine kit too & kinda want to pick up another gun to use it on permanently.

I loved my Neos. I got the 4.5" barrel. Sweet shooting gun. Taking it apart was a little difficult at first. What is this carbon kit? I'm going to have to do so e research.

Big fan. It's how I got my wife into shooting. Now, she's a convert and handles larger caliber weapons well.

Carbine. Has a 16" barrel & shoulder stock.

That sounds awesome. I did some research. That looks like it could be fun.

WE have one - it is a lot of fun - most .22's are - easy to break down, accurate, small hands (we work with kids a lot) work well with it. The mag release is in a funky place, the safety digs in to larger hands, and the out of the box trigger is gritty. JMPHO - YMMV

Wife had never shot a gun. Fell in love with the Neos - not so much on 9mm.

There is a gent in Colorado that does a trigger smoothing job on the Neos for about $25, IIRC. I had mine done, got it back about 10 days after I sent it, and the difference in the trigger was noticeable. I'd recommend it if you use the Neos for anything but plinking (I had planned on shooting Steel Challenge with it but life got in the way). I can't search for the guy's name because the school blocks all weapons related sites, but the website was easy to find when I did the search.

I loved mine -especially the absolute ease of field tripping in comparison to other .22s. However it had problems with the adjustable sight constantly moving and the firing mechanism messing up and becoming unshootable. Sent it for repair twice for the issue and it was never fixed.

Ask for a replacement.
