The actual figure could potentially be much higher than that.
#1> This shows NICS background checks. When you buy multiple guns in one transaction, only one NICS check occurs.
#2> Thousands of gun owners, such as TX CHL Holders, don't undergo a NICS background check when purchasing a firearm.
#3> If they had a way to add in private sales it probably double that number.

Bought two guns last week with CHL(no NICS)...didn't buy any O'Bamacare and don't plan on it either.
