Wow - all seriousness aside, look who set up the prostitution ring.... the sexual assault prevention officer "rlol"
FORT HOOD —

In what could be the first of multiple court-martials involving an alleged prostitution ring at Fort Hood, a senior non-commissioned officer who served in Iraq and Afghanistan is set to go on trial this afternoon on charges of conspiring to pay a female private for sex in February. Master Sgt. Brad Grimes, who is married, also faces charges of adultery.

In a case that has helped focus public attention on the problem of sexual assault within the military, Army prosecutors accuse Grimes of taking part in a prostitution ring they say was set up by Sgt. 1st Class Gregory McQueen, the sexual assault prevention officer of a battalion within Fort Hood’s III Corps headquarters.

Many believe it came from Gen. Hooker whose men were very found of female entertainment. However, there are a number of recorded uses of the word prior to the civil war.

The word more than likely came from the word hook which means to entice or swindle. Hooker would then mean one who entices or swindles.

Wow - this is pretty bad. This article has more details and the jury came back guilty. If this is true, and people in leadership rolls were doing this, this is pretty lenient.
Grimes was accused of taking part in a scheme in which young, cash-strapped female privates were allegedly recruited into a prostitution ring by Sgt. First Class Gregory McQueen, who was serving as the sexual assault prevention officer for a battalion within Fort Hood’s III Corps headquarters. McQueen has been suspended from those duties but remains on active duty. He has not been charged. A second private has accused McQueen of abusive sexual contact her during an “interview” to be part of the ring, according to investigative documents obtained by the Statesman.

Pimps, the second oldest profession, were, at a earlier time, refered to as 'fishmongers'.

Maybe it was community service to give them a different outlet for those kind of urges.
