Want to Rent AR-15 Gas Key staking tool

Does anyone have an AR-15 Gas Key staking tool and can help a fellow forum member out? Or can recommend a local gun smith who will charge a small fraction of the $80 cost of one for a one time use?

I purchased a BCG as part of a rifle kit and to my dismay the gas key was not properly staked. Only of the bolts are staked and the other only has a light tool mark on the gas key. Why didn't they finish the job?

I'm in the South Houston area.

Back them out, red locktite, torque to spec (most are 35 to 40 inch pounds - some manus are at 55 inch pounds - check with your manu), centerpunch and hammer... Then check torque to see if the screw moves, if it does, hit er agin Bobby Joe... No tool needed.

Yep! Good center punch is all you need.

This. It will be fine with just red loctite and proper torque, to be honest.
