I will be having a permanent pain pump installed on Monday at 3:30PM. I will be down for several weeks. Please pray for the operation and for no postoperative complications.

Ah! I take it the trial, earlier in the yer, went well, then, Good luck with the placement of the catheter and the pump - hope that it really does the trick for you, and that recovery is speedy and non-complicated.

Prayers up.

There's a reason certain portions of the human anatomy when in pain are used to describe a particularly obnoxious person or a persistent problem. The back and feet need to be added to the list. :thumbs2:

A quick, uneventful and, speedy recovery. :tiphat:

I never thought about the etymology of that particular phrase. At any rate, I also pray for Carl's quick, uneventful and speedy recovery. Prayers up!

I have a coworker who had this procedure. I would recommend that you strictly follow the instructions of your physician.

My surgery was postponed until Wednesday at Noon because of my blood being to thin and the risk for bleeding.
