CVS pharmacies....

I had to pick up some prescriptions today at my local CVS, and I used the drive-through window. I had my dog with me, and he was disappointed. Here is a copy of the contact message I just sent CVS on their website:
To whom it may concern,

My dog Trapper is very well aware that, when I use a drive-through window at any business establishment, it is a dog's constitutional right while riding shotgun in a truck to get a biscuit from the person behind the drive through window. It works at both of my banks, and it used to work at my former pharmacy. He expects it to work at CVS. He waited politely, dutifully, and attentively for his biscuit today. When he didn't get one, he looked at me as if to say "What the hell?"

If you've ever had your dog look at you like "what the hell" while riding shotgun in your truck, you'd know what I am talking about. It would be exceedingly good policy to start keeping a jar of dog biscuits at all of your drive through window locations.

Sincerly,

The Annoyed Man
Trapper's dad
I checked "Yes" for "do you expect a reply to this message".

I'll share their response if I actually get one. Should be good for a chuckle......

At one of my old banks I used to entertain the window person by tossing the proffered biscuit in the air back from the driver's side window and my lab would snag it every time.

I like to take our dog through chicken express. He is a retriever and they always give him to chicken strips. I order rolls and a diet coke. I then take one his strips (he likes to share) and we drive away two happy customers.

I can't wait for a response.

TAM I wish you hadn't brought this error in policy to their attention. The will be posting 30.06 for sure.

:biggrinjester:

My Walgreens has biscuits on hand. I haven't been in a bank drive through in years. Starbucks has the "Pupachino"....whip cream in a small cup. Our favorite bar/ resteraunt brings a bowl of water and a treat "pack" when we bring our pooch to their patio.

Can't wait to here their reply...

Ok, FTR that's not my doggy! Just a cute interwebby photo that fit the bill. Although, if that doggy were up for adoption, I'd be first in line!

I've never heard of this requirement, but then I don't typically drive with my dog.

However, that being said…

If my dog gets a biscuit, I WANT A COOKIE!

Our old Schnauzer would almost jump into the window waiting for a chicken liver or tender. He loved Chicken Express
