I bought this pistol new about 3-4 weeks ago. Ive had the opportunity to put about 30 rounds through it, the majority of which were .38.

Shortly after I bought it, QB listed her deluxe grips for sale and I scooped those up and it currently wears them.

It will come with the factory box and accoutrements.

I paid 735 plus tax and then $100 for the grips. Im in this for right at $900

The grips are not commercially available from S&W as they are only available on the 686 deluxe models. They also do not show up for sale seperately very often.

Asking $850 OBO.

The need for a trailer has arisen and the wife says the funds must come from the gun account.

I feel for ya.........I just sold three never-been-fired handguns to help with upcoming cataract surgery bills (and even more bills coming in from my spine/back doctor....grumble grumble). Ohhhhh the guns I could have kept and/or bought......but I do have to be able to walk and see, don't I (well, at least see the target). My mother said she'd help out but I couldn't take money from her when I can sell off a few things.
