If you were closer (or if I was more desperate for lead), I might consider it. Driving all the way across Houston even on a weekend is something that I try to avoid.

It's a rectangle of those dimensions and I can stick my fingernail in it. Doubt alloy and have no way a tellin.

The calculated density from marktx's data is 11.238 g/cc so it is close to pure lead, which is 11.34 g/cc.

Thanks Bill. I weigh it onbathroom scale and checked cubic inch wieght and seems tobe pure lead.

I have seen bricks like this that are plumbers lead. Grey in color and very soft. Some wheel weights added to it would make some fine bullets.
