An elderly lady was leaving the grocery store when she accosted by two thugs bent on stealing her purse. They approached her and barked, "Give us your purse, old woman."

She replied "Acts 2:45". One of the thugs took of running. The other turned and started running after him yelling, "Why are you running?"

"She's got an ax and 2 45s man. I ain't stickin' around!" he replied.

They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need- Acts 2:45, had to look it up.

I think the ACTS 2:38 version of the joke is better.

Then Peter said unto them, "Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."
